Bill is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy (1975) and served on active duty as a naval aviator for 12 years prior to entering the sports and entertainment facility management business. He has held top level positions with the following facilities:
- Yankee Stadium
- Giants Stadium (two tours)
- Cleveland Browns Stadium
- ESPN's Wide World of Sports
Bill was involved in the design and construction of ESPN's Wide World of Sports, Cleveland Browns Stadium, and New Meadowlands Stadium.
Bill celebrated 24 years in the sports facility industry in February 2011 and his past responsibilities included budgeting, staffing, training, event execution, maintenance and capital improvements just to mention a few. He is a Past President of the Stadium Managers Association which has members from the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the Canadian Football League, universities/colleges and other facilities that host sports and entertainment events.
Bill currently has his own consulting business featuring clients such as the New York Giants Football organization. He serves as the liaison between the team and the New Meadowlands Stadium Company which operates the $1.7 billion New Meadowlands Stadium. Many of his other clients provide products and services to the sports facility industry. Bill is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University and teaches a graduate course in Sports Facility and Event Management.
